About Worship IMAG:

The purpose of this blog is to help people that have live video systems in there house of worship that they use for IMAG and multi-site video venues.  I have learned over the past few years that the church market is a little unique.  Integrators don’t fully understand our needs and our worlds.  It is drastically different from TV even though we use the same type of gear.  I have done some things right and some things wrong.  I have seen things that work and things that don’t.  Many patterns are repeated from church to church, stuff that should be easy to catch but because the house of worship market is labeled as “in need of a deal” doesn’t mean anything will work.  This blog is here to give you some advice from someone who has seen the good, bad and the ugly.  I hope this helps you in some way.

About Brandon:

I used to work for a church called Eagle Brook in Minnesota.  Eagle Brook is a multi-campus church and each campus has been outfitted with a full video system for IMAG and Video venue.  God has blessed me with good experience  in the church world as well as in show and television production.  I have also worked with other churches in guiding them in their journey to IMAG and/or multi-site video venues.

My experience includes: designing, purchasing, installing, integrating, Training and operation of broadcast gear in Worship and Broadcast applications.   I have also created training materials in order to train both staff and volunteers on equipment.  One of the things I enjoy doing the most in this industry is finding creative solutions to problems and finding new ways to push quality gear to work the way we need it to.  I’d like to think of myself as a practical guy and I do my best to avoid spending more money than necessary and design a system in a way that is both efficient, error resistant and easy to use.

Currently I freelance doing event production, training on Ross video switchers, and working with a local Audio, video, and lighting company consulting, designing and installing control rooms.  I am enjoying being independent and on my own as it allows me to be flexible and offer my services to anyone.

I’m a Nerd and I love every minute of it!
